Where do you want to go in Portland?
Ride a bike with us. Find us at Around Portland Tours biking around the city on a brewery bike tour or food cart bike tour and other things that strike your fancy.
Not your thing? Walk or hike with us. We can take you wherever it is you want to go in Portland, whether that is up to Forest Park for a half-day hike through the mossy trees and (often muddy) rock-covered trails and up to some of the most beautiful views of the city; or from coffee shop to food cart to mid-afternoon chocolate maker.
Our detailed, immersive Walk Around Portland tours will teach you everything you need to know about the neighborhoods of the city. As a starting point, we suggest our series of two-hour downtown walking tours, that explain the history of architecture and parks; art and the Pearl District; and what we call “Weird Portlandia,” that funky spirit that has always been at the heart of Portland life.
If you need a guide through the city’s forested parks try our Forest Park Urban Hike, which has two starting locations in central Portland, begins with beverages and introductions, and then winds through Forest Park, visiting the famed Witch’s Castle; volcanic pools filled with young trout; hundreds-year-old trees; lichens and mosses and edible plants galore; and the Pittock Manson gardens. The Forest Spirit hike departs at 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. and is offered every day.
If you’d like to see more of us, send us a line. Perhaps we can take you someplace special. We call ourselves “Original Portlandians“; we’re filled with ideas about the best things to do and see in Portland.
